Teabox

August 2015 Ongoing

The idea that started it all! I was using an application to track sales for a consignment shop, and I couldn't stand the reporting. In the chiasm of my software career, since it's the one I started thinking about first, it'll be the one I finish last.

She makes stuff, she sells stuff, it's StuffBrandStuff!
I run the website for my wife's business. Under the hood it's just SquareSpace, but the true love and care has gone into the organization and display of the products. (They are DARLING, you have to at least look!)
We're always adding new beauty products, felted sculptures, and jewelry, so come visit often!

DOWN
The Old SN Landing Page. What's it now, I wonder?
A personal proof of concept: can I build a functioning, useful application in a weekend? I mean useful as in, would I want to use it?
Well, yes and no-- I made a useful app, but it took 72 hours from idea to deployment. What got deployed was a little app that could ingest a flat file and give me a meaningful summary of its schema.
It's currently down, but you can still check out the code on my GitHub.

More importantly, what could possibly have happened to it? What became of the precious cloud compute that was running it? Stay tuned to find out!
